Apparently Steve Jobs Parks in Handicap Spots

It appears that capturing snapshots of Steve Jobs' Mercedes SL55 AMG parked in a handicapped spot at One Infinite Loop is quickly becoming one of the ultimate "must have" photos on a tour of "The Mothership".

I guess when you're that rich, the handicapped don't matter...

Steve Jobs lives down the street from me and I've always marveled that he is able to get away with no license plate. I'm sure the local cops know who it is and look the other way. Surprised the Highway Patrol hasn't clamped down, though. Maybe he just pays the fines, but usually there are sanctions (taking away the driving license, impounding the car)after a certain number of citations. The powerful move in mysterious circles.

As for the handicap parking, he has pancreatic cancer and could get a placard if he wanted to, I'm sure. Probably considers it too bourgeous to apply.

The cancer thing would make sense, but no placard and apparently it isn't an issue anymore - he had the tumor removed successfully.

Although being dead could be considered a disability, I suppose.

We've got two Anonymous's going here. My comment was the first one.

Steve Jobs looks like hell. He blames it on a digestive disorder caused by the cancer treatments. He could probably still get a placard based on fatigue, which is obvious from looking at him.

The other anonymous said it -- he just enjoys being odd.

He's Steve Jobs. He's been odd for decades. Considering he could probably single-handedly cover the CA budget crisis, they're not going to give him issue.

If I had a handicap placard, I might drive into his car, a la "Fried Green Tomatoes". :)
